Our mission is to provide positive alternatives to abortion.
Our services take into consideration the family’s needs from conception throughout the infancy of the child.
We strive to empower our clients to reach their full God-given potential.
The History of the Life Care Center
The LifeCare Pregnancy Center was started in 1998 by a group of volunteers, to provide resources, referrals and lay counseling to pregnant women and families with young children. Non-profit 501(c)3 status was granted in 1999 and the Center now serves a six-county area in Northwestern Minnesota (Kittson, Marshall, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake and Roseau Counties).
The LifeCare Center is funded through the Minnesota Department of Health and through private and community donors. We provide services and education to teach positive alternatives to abortion. The most common service provided to clients is the Earn-While-You-Learn Program. This service provides parenting education for which clients receive Baby Bucks for weekly attendance. Baby Bucks can then be exchanged for items in our Baby Boutique, including cribs, diapers, wipes, swings, clothing, etc.
